EXPLORING THE HUMAN CONDITION

I’m Hannu Salonen, a director who grew up between languages, cultures, and stories. Cinema became my way of making sense of the world — a place where emotion meets structure and chaos finds rhythm. I work to create films and series that move people, because I believe stories shape who we are, how we see others, and how we remember. My natural habitat is somewhere between a film set, an editing suite, and a sauna.
